End-to-end complete electronics manufacturing services and box builds.
Also known as complete electronics assembly, this is a totally turnkey solution, equally suited to new product launches or ongoing production at volume.
One of our recent turnkey electronics manufacturing projects began when a client came to us for help with a prototype PCB design. With that a success, they wanted us to produce a small quantity of box builds for a pilot order. That same product scaled, and we moved to taking care of all of the electromechanical and cable assembly and also carrying out the programming and subsequent testing. Soon, we were building thousands of those units.
That’s far from unusual. We take over complete outsourcing, take over production from competitors found wanting, and take mere concepts on to design and then full production.
Complex electronics, compact enclosures and repeatable precision
We think the most important factor in a successful product assembly is the layout design of any enclosure. For scalable volume, you need repeatable precision. Our technicians have overcome the most challenging design constraints working with everything from small plastic enclosures through to complete sub-rack systems and fully wired panels.
Every painstakingly put-together product can be subjected to a range of test procedures, including building bespoke test rigs.
Being ISO 9001 Quality Management accredited and working to IPC-A-610 class 3 acceptance standards, it’s reassuring to know that nothing is left to chance.
Packed, coded and delivered
The advantages of a truly one-stop-shop in electronic product assembly are obvious. Cost-efficiency, convenience, ease of co-ordination and infinitely reduced risk.
We offer a total storage and distribution solution, so you can retain focus on marketing your products and coming up with the next big idea. Securely stored, perfectly packed, barcoded and shipped door-to-door for your customers. Needless to say, you receive regular reports throughout the process, so you’re always in the know.
Having worked with a new customer through their prototype phase, following product launch, we built initial small batches to satisfy pilot orders. As the customer scaled, we scaled production to meet their demands.
Hundreds of units turned into thousands and then tens of thousands of units, culminating in a total of approx. 250,000 units being produced, at a peak production rate of 5000 units per week, over a number of months.
PCB assembly, both SMT and THT, programming, test, configuration, final assembly, barcoding and packaging, all completed in house.
“The success and growth of our product would not have been achievable without the quality, service and flexibility we received from Protronix EMS.”
